Becky and Mimi spend summer 2014 interning at an all girls school in Gashora, Rwanda, and returned in summer 2015 to lead a project through Penn Engineering at the same school. This project focused on both technology and solar energy.

Becky Baumher is a senior in the engineering school studying computer science. While many may think that engineering is busy, Becky still manages to be on the varsity crew team. Hailing from Doylestown, PA, Becky always knows how to make a group smile. This characteristic has made her beloved in all places she has visited. She loves to travel, and in addition to her summer in Rwanda, she spent a semester abroad in Switzerland.

Michale (Mimi) Goldberger is a senior studying electrical engineering and management. Originally from Chicago, she is very involved in Hillel on campus and loves playing soccer with her friends. Michale loves people and is known for getting excited about everything.
